 | A very poor profile for such an important malt whisky. Some sweetness, but little else of the left (and better) side of the Profile; the aldehydes too prominent and its soapy underwear left open to view. Nothing like as good as the Famous Grouse of which it is an important component. It is difficult to avoid the surmise that if its owners paid more attention to spirit quality and less to distillery visitors, they might produce better whisky. |
